The Waste Management Phoenix Open, sporting the largest crowds on the PGA Tour, has gained legendary status for being a unique stop and unlike any other golf tournament.

Talking Stick Fine Art & Wine Festival – November 25-27

The Thunderbird Fine art and Wine Festival is held at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, which features some of Arizona’s most visually stunning mountain ranges – the perfect location for this exciting event.Thunderbird artists attracts world-recognized and nationally acclaimed independent artists who will personally showcase their new artworks. This event offers the public a rare opportunity to watch artists demonstrating their talent and expertise. There will also be an educational art zone for the kids to receive hands-on experience.

  • clay, stone, copper, metal and bronze sculptures

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show – November 11-13

The Arabian Horse is a special breed originating from the Arabian Peninsula. It is the most easily recognizable of horse breeds around the world. Also it’s one of the oldest breeds with archaeological evidence indicating this horse’s ancestors date back over 4,000 years!The American Cup Championship Arabian Horse Show, sponsored by the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona, will be open to Arabian Horses around the world and held at WestWorld in Scottsdale Arizona.

This show has grown from 50 horses to well over two thousand and brings top owners, trainers, breeders and fans from around the world to compete. A win at Scottsdale means big money for the winner’s breeding barn.

If you’re bored of the traditional 5 or 10K, this is 3 non traditional miles with 10 distinct and unique obstacles that will take your fitness to the next level and just might be the cure for the challenge you crave.

Stay with us at the Pima Inn & Suites and bring the kids for the Kid Adventure Zone. After the race, you can clean up and head back over for the post race fun! This event is right across the street from the Pima Inn & Suites, so you won’t even have to fire up the car.

Join us for a unique Halloween celebration at the Salt River Fields Balloon Festival and Spooktacular, where we’ll celebrate all that’s great about Autumn and Halloween.This Spooktacular is different because it has the classics:

  • Trick or treating (safe and fun for everyone)
  • Food and beverages
  • Kids fun zone (where they can burn off all that sugar!)

and it also has some distinctive features:

  • Hot air balloon glow in the early evening
  • Live music and entertainment

Plus, we’ll have loads of vendors. It’s a fun-filled weekend and a great way to get in the Halloween spirit.

Salt River Fields is right across the street from the Pima Inn and Suites, so stay with us and you can walk to the event. You might even be able to see the balloons glow while floating in our Olympic-sized pool away from the crowd.
